One of Australia’s leading Health communicators, Casey blends storytelling and science, delivering keynotes and MC experiences that are educational, relatable and widely entertaining.
Casey Beros is on a mission: to empower Australians to stick around for the people they love for as long as humanly possible. After 20 years of quizzing our brightest minds on how we can all live happier, healthier lives, she became frustrated by the fact that for all the knowledge at our fingertips – the data doesn’t lie: we’re sicker, fatter, and more stressed, lonely and anxious than ever before.
An award-winning health journalist, Casey has dedicated her career to teaching people how to close the gap between knowledge and action, tune out the noise and lean into our unique compass towards better health, more happiness and higher performance. She leaves audiences deeply connected to what’s truly important and inspired to take better care of themselves and the people they love most, long after the microphone is switched off. Whether it’s being a better parent, friend, colleague or community member, her goal is to give people more good years with the people they love, turning them into better advocates for themselves and their communities.
Holding the unique skill of being able to both MC and keynote, Casey is respected and loved by consumers and clinicians alike. She holds her own in nuanced, complex and dense medical territory, and is often called upon to act as a facilitator for some of our biggest health brands. She has hosted shows for the ABC and Channel 10, written for some of our biggest publications and in 2021 released her first book, The ‘Bad’ Girl’s Guide to Better – blending her love of entertainment and education to deliver a stealth help guide to navigating the obstacle course of life. Her second book is in the works, scheduled for release in 2025.
She started her Next Of Kin community after becoming the primary carer and medical advocate for her beloved Dad Jack, and actively works to improve the healthcare system for patients, practitioners and providers of care. Australia’s self-proclaimed parallel parking champion, she also knows the words to more pop songs than is probably normal and can often be found dancing in the aisles of Woollies with her two small children. Casey is a no-brainer as your next event’s keynote speaker or MC. BYO tissues and dancing shoes.
